RECIPE IDEAS FOR JAMBON D'ANTAN


In thin slices: This ham is ideal for starters (salad chiffonnade), sandwiches, with raclette cheese, it can be used to make a delicious croque-monsieur. Cut into strips and rolled up, it is excellent with an aperitif. For a more modern touch, try it with melon.

In thicker slices: The ham can be fried or lightly grilled after being heated in cider. In this case, you can serve it with green vegetables, purees, white beans, fresh pasta or fruit such as apples and pineapples.

Italian bruschettas: Rub slices of country bread with garlic and add a drop of olive oil, grill in the oven or toaster. Now add cherry tomatoes and spring onion cut into cubes on the bread and cover with a slice of smoked Jambon d'Antan.

JAMBON D'ANTAN CONSERVATION TIPS


The ham is best wrapped in a cloth and kept at an ideal ambient temperature of 6 °C to 7 °C.

Under these conditions, you can keep it for 4 to 5 months.
